Studio Process

Initial Inquiry: Please send all project inquiries by email, including photos whenever possible. We will review the information and let you know if we are able to accept your project.

Scheduling: We will contact you to schedule a time for drop-off or delivery. Please note that we typically have a waitlist.

Examination & Proposal: We ask that you leave the object with us for examination and documentation. We will follow up with a condition report (including photography), treatment proposal, and cost estimate. There is a $150 fee minimum for this documentation, which is waived if you elect to proceed with the treatment.

Treatment: We require a signed proposal before any treatment work begins. Upon completion of the project, a treatment report will be provided that includes detailed documentation of the materials and methods used, as well as before- and after-treatment digital photography.  

Insurance: Our studio carries standard fine arts insurance for objects while they are in our care.

Art Transportation: We do not provide or coordinate art transportation to and from our studio, but we can refer you to reputable art shippers if needed.
